Jim Taylor designed “Glory” 54’ Wood Composite Sloop
Jim Taylor designed “Glory” 54’ Wood Composite Sloop
Glory was built in 2004 to compete in the Spirit of Tradition Class racing fleet. Her hull is cored cold molded cedar and fiberglass construction. Her elegant structure and deck were all epoxy / glass / carbon / foam / post cured construction. The boat was engineered by DKI Structures of Americas Cup Fame. Combine that with classic lines by Jim Taylor and an all carbon rig and rudder package by Composite Solutions and you end up with a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Glory’s beauty is only eclipsed by her Ferrari like handling.
